white-classic[MWC 2015] The BlackBerry Classic, a smartphone that was announced to the masses a week before Christmas last year, has been touted by many to be the epitome of the company’s smartphone concept. After all, it comes with a hardware keyboard (something rare in this day and age where full touchscreen smartphones rule the roost, accompanied by a serious design alongside security features that the suits in corporations love. It seems as though there is more to the BlackBerry Classic than meets the eye, since the smartphone company intends to introduce a trio of new colors to spice things up a bit.

The BlackBerry Classic is said to be available in shades of blue, bronze and white, all the while retaining the business-friendly black color. This is certainly interesting news for those who have longed to pick up the BlackBerry Classic, but simply could not bring themselves to do so simply because of the lack of colors available.

Just to refresh our memories, the BlackBerry Classic will run on a Snapdragon S4 chipset, and accompanied by a 3.5” square display with a 720 x 720 resolution, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8MP front-facing camera, LTE support and a 2,515mAh battery. Is a new color – or new colors enough to persuade you? [Press Release]
