You might have heard the rumors by now that HTC is going to unveil a new phablet called the HTC One M9 Plus very soon. From the information that has been leaked up till now it’s basically going to be an enlarged version of the HTC One M9 with a few hardware changes. Purported renders of the HTC One M9 Plus have appeared online revealing that there might not be too many design changes.

The renders have been leaked by Twitter leakster @upleaks who has been right on several accounts in the past. Despite the fact that they’re from an unofficial source it won’t hurt to take a look.

Renders reiterate what we have been hearing recently, that the HTC One M9 Plus is going to have a fingerprint sensor. Some say it will have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, others say the display will come in at 5.2-inches.

The device is expected to be powered by a high-end MediaTek processor. HTC is also expected to include improved cameras on this device.

HTC has already scheduled an event in Beijing on April 8th. Rumor has it that at the event the company will finally unveil the HTC One M9 Plus and show us the phablet that’s going to take on the likes of iPhone 6 Plus and the Galaxy Note 4.
