htc inviteThe HTC One E9 is a handset that we have been hearing about recently and if you’re hoping for more official information, the handset could very well be announced tomorrow. HTC has recently sent out invites to an event that they will be holding in China. Interestingly enough the event will run for about a week from the 11th of March until the 17th of March.

While it is unclear as to what the event could be about, many are speculating that HTC could take the opportunity to announce the HTC One E9, which we suppose wouldn’t be surprising given that the rumors have suggested that the handset is targeted at the Chinese market, although we’re not sure why the event needs to run as long as it does.

That being said for those who have not been following the news regarding the HTC One E9, this is an upcoming handset from HTC that appears to pack some pretty decent specs. In fact to a certain extent it looks like it shares pretty similar specs as the HTC One M9 with some slight differences and an alleged plastic body.

The phone is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and will be powered by a MediaTek MT6795 CPU under the hood. It will also come with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, a 20MP rear-facing camera, and a possible 13MP front-facing camera. There are some disputes about the front camera as some rumors suggest a 4MP UltraPixel, but hopefully we will have the official information for you guys later this week.
