There are many times when instant gratification seems like the right choice even though it isn’t. For example if you’re trying to diet and lose weight and you think that eating that one cheeseburger is alright, chances are it isn’t and there’s now a smart safe by the name of the kSafe that wants to change all of that.

The kSafe is a Kickstarter project for a safe that will only unlock itself upon the completion of your goals. Users will be able to store all sorts of things inside, such as snacks that you’re trying to stay away, TV remotes if you’re trying to cut back on the amount of time spent watching the TV, or your smartphone or tablet if you’re looking to reduce your reliance on your gadgets.

From there, users will be able to set themselves a goal via their smartphone and the accompanying smartphone app to lock the safe. There will be different goals that users can choose from and upon completion of those goals, the kSafe will unlock and you will be able to retrieve your items. These goals include Activity Goals, Location Goals, and Time Goals.

Now if you’re wondering why the name sounds familiar, it is because the company’s first product, the Kitchen Safe, made an appearance on Shark Tank so the kSafe is actually the evolution of that. If you’d like to pledge your donation, hit up its Kickstarter page for the details.
