Brik-case-imageThere are a variety of cases designed for the MacBook series of laptops from Apple. Some are designed to be protective cases, while some are merely decorative. If you’re after a case that will offer the latter feature, then you might be interested in the Brik case which as you can see in the photo above, will allow MacBook users to decorate their laptops using LEGO-style bricks.

As it stands the creators of the Brik case are trying to raise funds via Kickstarter and with 26 days to go and with their funding standing at $19,000, we reckon there’s a good chance of them making it. Now we should note that these aren’t LEGO bricks per se, but rather bricks that resemble LEGO, although its creators say that their case will work with LEGO, Mega Bloks, PixelBlocks, KRE-O, and K’NEX bricks.

However the bricks that they will be shipping will be of their own variety. In some ways this is better than sticking on decals on your MacBook since you can change your design anytime you want and you don’t have to deal with trying to get rid of the glue residue left behind by stickers. It also creates for a very fun and unique look if that’s the style you’re after.

It’s admittedly a pretty clever idea and if you’d like to check it out and help fund their project, just head on over to their Kickstarter page for the details.
