nexus6-lollipopIt was just last week that Android 5.1 became official, and needless to say, it made its way to Google’s very own range of Nexus devices. With Android 5.1, users were able to enjoy a slew of improvements in this new version as opposed to older previous Lollipop builds, where among them include the likes of HD voice calls and silent mode. It has to be said that the Nexus 6 happened to be one of the handsets that benefited the most from this new mobile operating system version, where performance improvements and fixes to the handset were introduced.

Along with it, that particular version was distributed to users via Over The Air (OTA), but if one were to perform a quick sweep at Google’s Factory Images page, it does show that there is a spanking new Android 5.1 build that is being lined up for the very same device.

In the change log, there was no particular statement of any significant changes being rung in, which is also evident from having the same version number. Rather, the LMY47E build will arrive with a new version of the radio drivers, which would point to some modifications being made in terms of the connectivity department, be it cellular, Wi-Fi or otherwise.
