nexus-6-review-heroAfter what felt like an eternity of teasing and guessing, Verizon has finally released the Nexus 6 to its customers, and those who are interested in getting their hands on the handset will be able to do so by paying $249 on contract, $27.08 on Verizon Edge, or if they’d rather not be tied down with the carrier they can opt to pay $649 and buy the phone outright, although we guess this could have been done a lot sooner.

This follows our report from yesterday which revealed that the Nexus 6 would be released today and thankfully it looked like there wasn’t any unnecessary delays that would have held up the release of the phone, so for those who have been waiting for the phone, you can go ahead and order it online via Verizon’s website where it is expected to begin shipping on the 18th of March.

Interestingly enough Verizon has listed black as the only color that their Nexus 6 will be offered in. At the moment the handset is only available in a white or blue finish so either Verizon has gotten their colors mixed up, or the black finish could be an exclusive to the carrier which we have to say would look pretty cool, although early leaked did not hint at black as one of the possibilities.
