StarCraft: Ghost was Blizzard’s shooter that did not make it way into the eager hands of gamers. It made perfect sense given the StarCraft universe which involves space, aliens, robots, and huge guns. However it seems that StarCraft fan decided to try and make it a reality, or at least some variant of it.

If you have StarCraft 2 on your computer and wonder how StarCraft might have felt like as a shooter, you might be interested in a mod called Psionic Warfare: Total Destruction. This is a mod designed around the StarCraft 2 game that puts players in third-person shoes of one of five playable classes as you enter an arena and fight other players.

There will be multiple game modes – four at this time of writing, and four different levels. Players will be able to play with up to three other friends as well so if you guys are looking to go a little crazy with the guns in StarCraft 2 in some arena madness, then this mod might be for you. We have to admit that it looks pretty amazing and it is up there with the StarCraft 2 MMO mod from a few years ago.

For those of you guys are interested in getting your hands on it, you can head on over to the SC2Mapster forums for the official download. Alternatively if you want something a little more polished, Blizzard’s Overwatch could be worth the wait as well.
