We reported last week that T-Mobile is going to begin seeding the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for HTC One (M7) on March 9th. The carrier has followed through on the release date as today it finally released Google’s latest and greatest update for its mobile platform to everyone who owns a HTC One (M7) on its network.

It was actually expected that T-Mobile will begin rolling out the update on March 10th. From the reports that are coming in the carrier has actually started to seed the update one day early.

HTC One (M7) owners on Magenta will hardly have cause of complaint. They have waited long enough to get a taste of Lollipop on their devices. However the more recent models were first in line and T-Mobile only turned its attention towards this device only it had released Lollipop for the newer models.

The update comes in at around 730MB so be sure to be hooked up to a strong Wi-Fi network before starting the download. Since the roll out is in early stages it might take a while for the update notification to pop up on everybody’s HTC One (M7).

A little patience will most certainly go a long way, don’t you think?
