We suppose one of the reasons why Minecraft might be such a popular game is because it helps unleash your creativity, allowing gamers to create all sorts of worlds based on their ideas, as long as they have the patience and discipline to see it through. Now previously we have seen how worlds from Game of Thrones and World of Warcraft have been made using Minecraft, and now it looks like The Simpsons have been given the Minecraft treatment as well.

Just last month a Simpsons skin pack was released which featured several different Springfield, and what YouTuber Bearly Regal did was take those skins, create the town of Springfield, and put it together in a video that is reminiscent of the opening sequence to the cartoon that any Simpsons fan would be able to recognize in an instant.

Of course there are some discrepancies and some models missing from the video as it is not a 100% faithful reproduction of the opening sequence, but that being said it does come pretty damn close which is just as impressive. If you have a couple of minutes to spare, then you should probably check it out in the video above. In the meantime for those who wouldn’t mind getting their hands on the Simpsons pack for Minecraft, you can purchase it by heading on over to the Xbox website.
