verizon-nexus-6

The largest mobile carrier in the country has taken its sweet time to bring Nexus 6 for its customers but the wait has finally ended. It was reported earlier this week that Verizon could launch the Nexus 6 on March 12th. That’s exactly what it’s going to do. The Verizon Nexus 6 launch has been confirmed for tomorrow, March 12th, and the smartphone will ship from Big Red with Android 5.1 pre-installed.

As expected Verizon will start things off online. The Nexus 6 will be available for purchase tomorrow from Big Red albeit online only. It will be available from the carrier’s retail stores starting March 19th.

With a conventional two year service contract customers will have to pay $249.99 for the device. It can also be purchased on the Verizon Edge equipment installment plan for equal monthly installments of $27.08 per month.

Verizon customers who purchase the Nexus 6 before March 31st, 2015 will also receive a 6-month subscription to Google Play Music All Access for free. Once the free subscription ends they’ll be required to pay $9.99 per month to continue accessing the music streaming service.

Since the device comes with Android 5.1 pre-installed, which was announced very recently, it does come with support for Verizon’s Advanced Calling 1.0. The feature lets users enjoy HD Voice Calling to other compatible smartphones on Verizon.
