Xiaomi, a name that is no stranger to all of us, is being said to introduce a spanking new device in India. As to the specifics of it all, that remains to be seen, although there has been rumblings going on that this would be the Xiaoi Redmi 2 device.
How did we arrive at this particular possible conclusion? Well, it seems that Xiaomi has a new contest being organized over in India, where it is held at the official Facebook page. In this particular contest, you are required to hunt down three words within a word puzzle, and your entry would put you in the running of picking up one of the three gadgets.
In the puzzle, there are words like ‘Quick Charge’, ‘Wide angle’, ‘expandable’, ‘matte’ and ‘Cortex’. I suppose these are dead giveaways of it being the Redmi 2, taking into consideration that the Redmi 1S has been out of stock already, whereas the Mi Note Pro is not yet released in that part of the world.
We do keep our fingers crossed that Xiaomi does not make the Redmi 2 to be available from a certain or select retailer, online or otherwise, exclusively, since that might just limit the number of people who would then be able to pick it up. This contest will close on March 11, so it might take a week before the results are announced.
