zte-nubia-z9It has been widely tipped for ZTE to make an announcement concerning the much talked about ZTE Nubia Z9 for quite some time already, but somehow or rather, there was no official unveiling at the recently concluded MWC 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. Fret not, however, as it seems that this particular smartphone is set to be unveiled in due time later this month – or the 26th of March, to be exact.

ZTE has sent out an invitation to the March 26th event which does give off a really, really strong suggestion that this particular event will concentrate on the Nubia Z9, simply by the corresponding numeral figure being the main focus of the invitation. However, there has been no confirmation whatsoever concerning the smartphone’s physical design or hardware specifications, so we will just have to rely on previous whispers and rumors.

To date, the Nubia Z9 has been said to come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, accompanied by a display of 5.5” thereabouts, which might also mean that a QHD resolution is in order, considering how the Nubia Z7 does come equipped with a Quad HD display. Well, what do you think of the ZTE Nubia Z9 when it arrives – will it have the relevant specifications to duke it out with the big boys?
