solo-droneNo man is an island, but robots do not really care for company. Heck, they do not give two hoots whether they are the last robot on earth or not, simply because robots do not have feelings of any kind. Having said that, drones too, fall under the category of robots, and 3D Robotics’ latest Solo drone is worth checking out if you would like to be a whole lot more creative when it comes to capturing photos and videos from various angles.

The Solo from 3D Robotics happens to be the company’s most advanced consumer drone to date, where this ready-to-fly quadcopter will bring together everything that the company has picked up from its previous products, as well as learning a thing or two from its competitors, and packing everything into a single platform.

Thanks to the Solo, 3D Robotics have now also upped their level of customer support, which is a good thing for sure among consumers. What does the Solo do? It will be able to obtain video directly from any modern GoPro camera (with the Hero3+ or better), while streaming such a feed straight to your phone or tablet courtesy of 3D Robotic’s latest optional 3-axis Solo gimbal. The main objective of the Solo drone is to improve the user experience, making it ideal for both professionals and beginners.
