ipad pro_1If the rumors are to be believed, Apple is said to be working on a tablet called the iPad Pro which is supposedly an iPad with a 12.9-inch display. As it stands it is unclear as to what the device might look like but thanks to famed Apple leaker Sonny Dickson, alleged photos of cases designed for the iPad Pro have surfaced.

Now we should point out that case makers sometimes base their design on speculation and rumors and these might not necessarily be representative of the real thing. This is usually because case makers want to beat the competition to the market and have products ready when it is officially launched, but there are times when the case makers are right on the money.

ipad pro_2We can’t be sure if these are the real deal so take it with a grain of salt for now. That being said, the design of these cases certainly seems to line up with previously leaked images. It seems that for the most part, Apple will also be keeping to the design language of the iPad and it will not be too huge of a departure.

However the cutouts in the case all seems to point towards the possibility that the iPad Pro could sport four speakers. There is also an additional cutout on its side which seems to suggest that the iPad Pro could incorporate the USB-C connector found in Apple’s latest 12-inch MacBook. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but assuming Apple keeps to their schedule, we can expect the rumored iPad Pro to be announced towards the later part of the year.
