amazon-japan-bmwWhile we are all aware that Amazon does offer a slew of items in its inventory for sale, so much so that it does get rather breathtaking trying to keep track of all of it. Well, if you happen to live in Japan, here is a tip – do you know that you need not walk into a BMW showroom in order to pick up the BMW i3, but rather, you are able to do so right from the comfort of your living room through Amazon Japan?

Yes sir, to purchase an actual BMW, and a BMW i3 at that, using your computer that is hooked up to the Internet, is definitely a novelty no matter how you look at it. Not to mention that this particular BMW is not some sort of toy car, but the real deal itself. Do take note that the BMW i3 happens to be battery powered, and it is no remote controlled toy which you have fun with in the living room, but will be the popular compact EV from BMW instead.

It will cost ¥999,000 – which is a wee bit more than $8,000 a pop, but that is not the whole story. In fact, that is just the downpayment, and the full price would be a wee bit below ¥5.5 million that would amount to approximately $45,000 after conversion. You will still need to wait for BMW to call you after you have placed your order, so that the necessary details afterwards can be worked out.
