nexus2cee_AmazonInstantVideo-668x418There are plenty of video streaming services to choose from, but if you’ve paid for an Amazon Prime subscription, we reckon that you’d probably want to take advantage of the Amazon Prime Instant Video service. Oddly enough and despite it being a rather obvious choice, Amazon’s Prime Instant Video was not supported by Android tablets, at least until now.

Amazon has recently updated its Amazon Instant Video for Android and with the update, it will now be playable on your Android tablet, so if you want to enjoy videos on the go then this is an update you’ll want to check out. It’s weird that Amazon took so long to bring support to Android tablet. What’s even more odd is that it took the company a while to bring it onto their Fire and iOS devices, and even longer before it made its way onto Android smartphones.

However as the saying goes, better late than never, right? In the description of the updated app, Amazon writes, “Now watch Amazon Instant Video on your Android phones and tablets. Android tablet customers can search and browse for videos on Amazon.com in their web browser and tap Watch Now to have the Prime Instant Video app begin playing the video.”

So if you have yet to download the latest version of the Amazon Prime Instant Video app, you can do so by heading on over to Amazon’s Appstore for the download.
