Last we checked, Android 5.x Lollipop’s distribution was sitting at around the 5% mark, hardly impressive given that the update was made available quite a while ago. However it seems that this has not stopped fans from wondering what Google might have in store for us in the next major Android update, which at the moment is tentatively referred to as Android 6.0 Muffin.

Well at least for one fan, he’s hoping that the next major Android build will incorporate some useful features from other OEMs, such as multi-window support which is available on Samsung’s Galaxy handsets. For those unfamiliar, multi-window support basically allows two apps to run side-by-side each other in the same screen, kind of like what you might expect from a PC.

This is a great feature and a great tool for multitasking as it won’t involve the user have to constantly swap between apps in order to find out information. The concept video was published by Miroslav Vitula and apart from the multi-window concept, also introduces a quick reply feature from iOS 8 and other third-party Android apps, except that in this case it is integrated into the Android OS itself.

There’s really no telling what the next Android build will bring, but we like the concept that Vitula has cooked up and if you have a few minutes to spare, you can check out the concept video above for the details.
