assassin's-creed-chronicles

When Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China was announced last year Ubisoft had intended to release it as part and parcel of the Assassin’s Creed Unity season pass. Now there has been a slight change of plans. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is now a trilogy that covers China, Russia and India. It’s a three-part downloadable game series which starts off on April 21st when Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China gets released.

The first part in this trilogy stars Shao Jun who is the last remaining assassin from the Chinese Brotherhood. Her adventures are set in 1526 China just as the Ming Dynasty’s downfall begins.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia stars Nikolaï Orelov and the story is set in 1918 following the October Revolution in Russia. Orelov has previously appeared in AC graphic novels.

Last but not the least, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India features Arbaaz Mir who also featured in graphic novels before. His story is set in 1841 when the Sikh Empire goes to war in India.

All three parts are side-scrolling 2.5D style games which will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China will be released on April 21st for $9.99. AC Unity season pass holders will get it for free. The two remaining parts will be released at some other date separately.
