galaxy-s6-vs-galaxy-s6-edge_01The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have been pegged for an official release on the 10th of April, but it looks like for customers who pre-ordered the device via certain carriers, it seems that they have begun to receive their shipments early. We’ve seen T-Mobile ship out some units ahead of schedule and recently Sprint confirmed early shipments as well, and the good news for AT&T customers is that the carrier has also appeared to begin early shipments too.

This is according to a new thread on Reddit in which several AT&T customers have reported that they have received notifications from the carrier informing them that their orders were being shipped, meaning that it is possible that these customers will be able to receive their phones in time before the official 10th of April release date. With AT&T joining the likes of T-Mobile and Sprint, it pretty much leaves Verizon as the only carrier that has yet to partake in the early shipping process.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are highly-anticipated handsets. Both handsets feature a brand new metal design and impressive hardware specs under their hoods, including the use of the company’s Exynos 7420 chipset and a QHD display. Both phones also pack impressive cameras as evidenced in a blind camera test, and with the S6 Edge, it has the added perk of having curved displays on both sides of the phones.
