htc-one-m9-live-10A couple of weeks ago we reported that HTC had an update for its One M9 handset that would improve its camera. The company then pushed out the update to its unlocked handsets but those on carriers such as AT&T and T-Mobile have yet to receive their updates. Well the good news is that both carriers have recently begun to push out said update to their customers, with T-Mobile’s update having gone live a few days ago.

If you have the HTC One M9 on either AT&T or T-Mobile, you should be able to expect the update to make its way to you today, if it hasn’t already. If you have yet to receive the notification that an update is waiting for you, fret not as we expect that the update is being rolled out in stages and should make its way onto your phone eventually.

With the update, HTC has brought about improvements to the handset’s camera which is actually a pretty obvious improvement, so if you did not particularly fancy the HTC One M9’s camera before, hopefully the update has improved it to your liking. According to the changelog, there have also been improvements made to the thermals of the phone, along with your usual assortment of bug fixes and improvements across the board. The update should bring your software number to 1.32.502.31, so if you already have that version you should be good.
