batman-arkham-knight-dlc

Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham Knight has already got many gamers anxiously waiting for the title to drop. It was actually supposed to be released in October 2014 but since then the title has been delayed multiple times. As part of an arrangement with Sony, PlayStation 4 owners will get exclusive access to bonus DLC content. However it appears that this will be a timed exclusive so the possibility exists that this bonus DLC content will also make its way to other platforms after some time.

The most recent release delay was announced last month when Rocksteady said that it was delaying the release from June 2nd to June 23rd, 2015. Hopefully there will be no further delays and the game will make it out on the aforementioned date.

It is not uncommon for DLC content to be made exclusive to one platform for a limited time. Amazon’s listing for this title shows that bonus DLC content that includes Scarecrow Nightmare missions, Justice League 3000 Batman, Classic TV series Batman and Classic TV Batmobile skin will be a timed exclusive until fall 2015.

So once the exclusivity runs out there’s nothing stopping this content from being made on other platforms, Rocksteady probably won’t hold it back anyway when the time is up.
