The Apple Watch is available exclusively online, but as we reported yesterday while Apple’s retail stores will not be carrying the watch, there will be several high-end boutiques around the world that will. Now according to reports, it looks like customers have already begun camping outside some of them.

As you can see in the image above, there are some customers in the US who have begun queuing up outside Maxfield in Los Angeles who is one of the boutiques listed as carrying the Apple Watch. The line does not appear to be too long but we wouldn’t be surprised if it started to grow more by tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately it also seems that there were some who did not get the memo as it was spotted in Sydney that there was a line of customers outside Apple’s flagship store who were queuing for the device. Presumably they have already been told that the watch is not available for purchase in the store as it is already in the afternoon in the country.

The boutiques that will be offering the Apple Watch include Colette in Paris, Dover Street Market in London and Tokyo, Maxfield in Los Angeles, the Corner in Berlin, and 10 Corso Como in Milan. Each retailer will only carry a limited amount of units so if you’re not quick to get in line, you’ll probably go home empty-handed.
