android-5.0-lollipop

Folks who own the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note Edge around the globe have already been given a taste of Lollipop by their respective carriers. Unfortunately Sprint subscribers haven’t been so lucky but today they have to keep their eyes peeled for an update notification. The carrier has finally started to release the Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note Edge.

It’s really about time that Sprint rolled out Lollipop for these devices. Users have been waiting for far too long and with majority of Samsung’s recent devices being updated already, they too will rejoice after jumping on the latest iteration of Android.

As many of you know by now that Android 5.0 Lollipop brings quite a lot of new features to the devices. Users will instantly notice an overhauled user interface with Material Design elements once they have installed the update.

New features are accompanied by crucial performance and stability improvements as well as the much needed bug fixes which lend stability to the overall system.

The update for both devices is around 1GB given that it’s a major release so you might have to wait a bit as it’s downloaded on the device, particularly if your internet connection isn’t fast enough.
