Sometimes typing out long sentences on a keyboard can be rather tiresome compared to just saying it out loud, so Google does what Google does best by trying to find a way to help make your life more efficient. What Google Japan has come up with is a rather novel way of typing through the use of a party horn.

Dubbed the Google Japanese Input Piro-piro, basically it is a gadget that attaches to a party horn, and through the use of an infrared sensor, it will be able to detect how long the horn has been extended in order to know what word you want to type. So to type out entire sentences, you’d basically have to keep blowing on the horn until your entire message has been composed.

Sounds a bit silly, doesn’t it? We suppose it does especially when you consider that this is just an April Fool’s joke from Google. It seems that the company is kind of on a roll today with its April Fool’s jokes. Earlier the company had debuted the Google Panda which is basically the plushie version of Google Now, and now we have a party horn keyboard accessory thingamajig. It actually looks more tiring to type with it than typing it out but hey, at least it’ll always sound like there’s a party going on in the office!
