gtav_details09122014_015Gamers are no doubt excited to get their hands on Rockstar’s upcoming GTA 5 for the PC which has been pegged for a release on the 14th of April, and the good news is that if you have pre-purchased the game via Steam or the Rockstar Warehouse, you might be interested to learn that starting from today, you will be able to preload the game on your computer.

What does this mean? Basically this means that you will be able to download the game in its entirety on your computer ahead of its launch so that come 14th of April, all you’d have to do is launch the game and you can start playing without having to wait for its files to download, unless of course Rockstar decides to release a last minute patch but other than that, you should be good to go.

This will no doubt save gamers some time, especially those who might not want to wait to download all the files on launch day and want to start playing right away. That being said, Rockstar did not specify what time the required files will be going live, so gamers might want to keep an eye out for it for when it does.

There’s also no telling how big the actual game will be in terms of download, but the listing on Steam has asked gamers to keep at least 65GB of storage free. While we doubt that it will actually take up that much space, perhaps you’ll want to free up some space just in case.
