huawei-cherryHuawei certainly has a fair number of smartphones up their sleeves, and it seems that a tipster who prefers to remain anonymous (don’t they all) have shared additional details concerning the upcoming Huawei Honor Cherry. Or rather, that is what the tipster has dubbed the handset as, which in all probability, would be the device’s codename. It is said that the Huawei Honor Cherry will first roll out in Russia, where it will carry a price tag that resides within the range of RUB 13,000 and RUB 15,000. When converted, it will amount anywhere from $225 to $260, and is set to arrive in other countries not too long after.

As for the hardware specifications of the Huawei Honor Cherry, it does seem to run on a Kirin 620 chipset that is built on a 28nm process, not to mention an octa-core Cortex-A53 and Mali-450MP4 GPU, accompanied by 150Mbps LTE connectivity to boot. The camera sample points to a width that should make it a 13MP sensor, with the EXIF info on the purported leaked photo pointing to an f/2.0 aperture and 1/3.2″ sensor.

Apart from that, battery capacity is allegedly 2,550mAh that matches the Samsung Galaxy S6, and it would translate to lasting at least 50 hours on moderate usage, or 28 hours should you decide to push it beyond what it would normally be worked on. As with all rumors, take this with a pinch of salt!
