iPhone-6-review-5iPhone users who are on T-Mobile’s network get to enjoy the WiFi calling feature on their devices, but the good news is that if you’re a Sprint user, it looks like WiFi calling has finally been enabled for your handset. This comes courtesy of the latest iOS 8.3 update that was issued earlier today.

If you have yet to update your iPhone, you’ll want to go ahead and download the update. The WiFi calling feature will apply to the iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and of course the latest iPhone 6 and 6 Plus handsets. Those who have older iPhone models will be out of luck, but if the feature isn’t too important to you then we guess you can just pass it up.

That being said, Sprint has noted that WiFi calling support is expected to be rolling out over the course of the next week, so if you have updated to iOS 8.3 and do not see the feature yet, rest easy as we expect that it will make its way to you eventually. For our friends and readers over in the UK, iOS 8.3 has also enabled WiFi calling for EE customers so that’s something to look forward to as well.

Apart from enabling WiFi calling for Sprint and EE customers, the update has also introduced improvements to Siri, bug and stability fixes, automated spam reporting for Messages, and also a new range of diverse emojis, just to name a few.
