If you ever host a dinner party at your place you might reconsider inviting Jon Snow, our very own watcher on the Wall, sworn to protect the realms of men. The Ned Stark offspring has seen more than his fair share of death and destruction which appears to have consumed his life so he won’t be the one making lively conversation with your other guests. This is part of a skit put together on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
For the unaware, Jon Snow is a character from the very popular TV show Game of Thrones. Kit Harrington, the actor who plays Jon Snow, appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote the upcoming season.
The short skit is fun to watch as it places Jon Snow in a situation you wouldn’t otherwise find him in as he goes about his business on the Wall. He has decent manners and is mindful enough to compliment the good wine and food but his conversation skills could use improvement.
As the other guests talk about how wonderful New York weather is in the spring all Snow can talk about is death, destruction and the White Walkers. Seth Meyers tries to coach him on how to interact in a better way with fellow humans and maybe even make small talk.
Game of Thrones season 5 premieres on HBO on April 12th.
