t-mobile-g2Being patient certainly has its fair share of advantages, and if you happen to be an LG G2 owner who rocks to T-Mobile’s network, then surely you would have been extremely patient when it comes to waiting for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

T-Mobile has already confirmed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout will kick off today, the 14th of April, and it claims that it has scheduled the update to be sent out all the way until the 22nd of May, so if you have not received the update on your handset just yet, there is no need to worry or fret since a fair bit of patience is required still. After all, if you have waited this long already, where is the harm in waiting for slightly more than one month?

On T-Mobile’s official page, it does mention that the new software will come with “features and improvements,” although it remains to be seen just what those features and improvements are all about. If one were to drop by the “Improvements” section, you will be greeted by “N/A”, which is a bummer. Do expect to see your fair share of Material Design on the handset though, in addition to new lock screen notifications, among others. When your LG G2 gets bumped to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, the software version will be D80130b.
