The LG G4 will be officially announced on the 28th of April, but based on the teasers LG has released so far, it is safe to say that pretty much all of the handset’s specs and features have been revealed, or at least the major ones that consumers might care about. Now we know that the handset will sport a 16MP rear-facing camera with an f/1.8 aperture, but how good of a camera are we talking about?

Well in a new teaser video LG has released (see above), the company basically talks about the handset’s camera and what it can do, and in the process revealed a sample photo taken by the camera. We have to say that assuming LG did not touch it up professionally, the sample photo taken by the LG G4 is mighty impressive and that if we did not know any better, we would have assumed it was taken using a professional DSLR camera.

lg_g4_sampleHowever to be fair, LG did employ Colby Brown who is a full-time professional photographer and an LG spokesperson, so for Brown photography concepts like lighting, composition, as well as the tweaking of the camera’s settings are pretty well known to him, so achieving such a photo might be possible.

Other features of the handset includes a 5.5-inch QHD display and what appears to be a stitched leather back option. As for the design, it reminds us a lot of the Nexus 5 phone which was also designed by LG and that’s not a bad thing either. In any case check back with us on the 28th of April for the details regarding availability and pricing.
