lg-g4-leather-teaser

Most major Android OEMs have unveiled their new flagships for 2015 but LG is yet to join the party, even though the G4 has already been seen in all its glory courtesy of many leaked pictures. LG is going to make the official announcement on April 28th and as for when the device will actually come to market, we have word today that the LG G4 release date has been pegged at May 31st.

The information comes straight from LG South Korea’s website, though it’s possible that the release date mentioned on the website might be for that particular market.

It won’t surprise anyone though if LG decides to release its new flagship device on home soil first before it makes its way to other markets around the world.

Or it’s possible that the website might be referring to the international release date for the LG G4, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from the company on this, we can expect to hear more about release dates come April 28th.

As far as the device itself is concerned the LG G4 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and may have a 16 megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. From the leaked pictures, and the ones LG itself has teased us with, the upcoming flagship has a leather back.
