The LG G4 is set for an official announcement on the 28th of April, although given all the leaks and confirmed information, we doubt that there would be anything surprising about LG’s announcement, although we’d probably expect the company to announce when the handset will be available for purchase.

That being said, LG has recently released a video in which the company teases the QHD display of its upcoming handset. The video doesn’t really tell us much or give us information we didn’t already know, but LG is boasting that its QHD display will be different compared to the competition which we can only assume is a jab at companies such as Samsung who have previously released devices with QHD displays.

The video claims that their display will be 25% brighter and have a 20% wider color range compared to other displays, but whether or not this is true remains to be seen which we will be taking a look at in our review when we get our hands on the device. Previously LG had confirmed that the LG G4 would feature a 5.5-inch QHD display.

The company also confirmed that the handset will pack a 16MP rear-facing camera with a f/1.8 aperture which should help in low-light situations. In any case we expect LG could release more teasers closer to the launch date, so do check back with us in the coming weeks for the details.
