In just about a fortnight from today Mortal Kombat fans are in for a treat. The much awaited Mortal Kombat X for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will finally be released and surely many gamers around the world will be waiting to get their hands on it. Despite the fact that the developer has often given us glimpses of the game today it put up the official Mortal Kombat X launch trailer, it’s well worth your time.

Earlier this week the full roster of Mortal Kombat X was confirmed as well as pre-order only characters and DLCs. Some characters from older Mortal Kombat titles, like Smoke, Cyrax and Sheeva aren’t included in the new game.

There has been no shortage of Mortal Kombat X footage over the past few months but the official launch trailer from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment condenses it down to two minutes and offers the best look yet of what this title will look like on next-generation consoles.

Mortal Kombat is undoubtedly one of the most popular fighting videogame franchises out there and it has a massive fan following which will be relieved that a new title has finally been released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Lets just hope it fulfills their expectations.
