clic_marble_4We’ve seen a variety of iPhone cases that are largely made from plastic, leather, and metal. However if you’re after something that’s truly unique, you might be interested in taking a look at Native Union’s CLIC  Marble iPhone 6 Case. As the name suggests, this is an iPhone case made out of marble.

Now before you think that it’s basically a slab of marble slapped onto the iPhone, think again. According to Native Union, the company claims that it took them a year and a half to figure out how to slice marble at 0.8mm thick, and from there they further reinforce it with fiberglass to help keep it flexible and shatter-resistant, so that if and when you drop your phone, the case won’t shatter into pieces.

The company also claims that they have sourced their marble from Italy using the Carrara white marble for the white design. Overall the case is also expected to add about 2mm of bulk to your iPhone and will cost you $80. Granted this is rather expensive just for an iPhone case, but like we said it’s unique in design and will no doubt let you stand out from the crowd. It is available for pre-order and will begin shipping come 25th of May.
