Netflix has teamed up with Silverback Films as well as WWF, in order to roll out Our Planet. Our Planet is not new at all, as it happens to be a landmark follow up to the Planet Earth series. Our Planet happens to be an 8-part series, where it will merge stunning photography of the earth, not to mention an unprecedented peek into the last of the wilderness areas that dot the earth – as well as the animals that live in it. Our Planet is tipped for a 2019 debut.
This will be an ambitious undertaking that has been estimated to take up to four years to complete, where viewers will be able to enjoy never-before-filmed wilderness areas that range from the ice caps and deep ocean to deserts and remote forests. Hopefully, the stunning visuals that introduce viewers to the most precious species and places which should withstand the impact of humanity in order for future generations to enjoy them, will also move the hearts of the viewers to do their bit for the environment.
