nexus-4

Here is a good news for the Nexus 4, Android 5.0 is going to be a thing of past for you, as you just got the Android 5.1 update. Google initiated the roll out of the Android 5.1 update to selected Nexus devices last month, and many devices have got the update since then.

So, for the Nexus 4 users, here is the OTA link, which enables you to upgrade from Lollipop LRX22C to LMY47O. The update size is of 174MB. The update will bring few changes along with bug fixes and enhancements in the system stability. It’s not confirmed yet that whether all the users will receive the update today or not. We can assume that it might take a little to reach each and every user.

There will also be users who would be looking forward to manually flash the original stock Android 5.1 to Nexus 4 devices, but Google has not posted the factory images for the Nexus 4 Android 5.1 Lollipop to the factory image web portal yet. However, users can flash the OTA manually, a Reddit posts gives out all the instructions to flash it successfully.
