This particular tablet was sold for a whopping $30,500 at a charity auction for a school in Uruguay, and this event happened earlier in the week, at least according to Reuters. The phone bidder remained anonymous, although Castells auction house in Montevideo was said to have handled the auction. Of course, do bear in mind that apart from the person making use of this particular tablet in the past being none other than Pope Francis, this tablet will also sport an inscription located at the back that reads: “His Holiness Francisco.
