Mass Effect 4 is currently in development but exactly what kind of features the game will have remains to be seen, along with a possible story, characters, and so on. However according to a recent post on Reddit (via PC Gamer), the poster claims to have received a survey from last month which more or less clues us in as to what we might be able to expect.Of course all of this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but developers do send out surveys from time to time to get an idea of what gamers want. This does not mean that the features listed in surveys are a sure thing, but sometimes it does hint at the direction that developers are planning to take.
That being said as for Mass Effect 4, the poster claims that the game is expected to take place in the Helius Cluster. This will be a place that is “far removed by time and space from Commander Shepard’s heroic acts and the final events of the Mass Effect trilogy,” with gamers “leading an expedition into the Helius cluster to establish a new home for humanity.”
Players are also expected to collect resources to help progress within the game and will also be able to recruit as many as seven crew members to add to your party. “Your crew will grow alongside you as you explore the Helius Cluster, and you can choose how you upgrade your crew’s weapons, gear and abilities to increase their individual combat effectiveness.” The poster also mentions a multiplayer mode which is something we heard about earlier this year.
In any case the post on Reddit is rather long and like we said, it should probably be taken with a grain of salt for now. There has not been a confirmed release date for Mass Effect 4 just yet but check back with us at a later date for more information.
