Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Samsung has worked hard on the software on the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, it has optimized its performance and has also reduced the bloatware (a little). The company has also enabled the device to customize the user interface as per user’s needs.

Samsung is preparing varied themes for its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. Even though these are not the first devices to have support for themes, but they are certainly the first ones to allow users to download extra themes to personalize their phone.

To make the theme feature usable, Samsung is offering unique themes, and it also has plans to roll out many more theme options as soon as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will be available for sale internationally on April 10.

As clearly depicted in the images, Samsung is adding a wide variety of themes to the Theme Store. These themes are capable of changing the entire outlook of screens such as settings screen, regular stock apps, and the keyboard, and also, the home screen icons, wallpaper or the notifications slide.

The company will also release a dark theme, which would help users in power saving, it will utilize the Super AMOLED displays on both S6 and S6 edge.

However, there is no information regarding when third-party developers and the community will be allowed to create their niche themes, but the Software Development Kit (SDK), which will be released in April, shall enable the third party developers to publish free and paid themes on the Samsung theme store.
