Earlier this month a video surfaced which showed the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge pitted against the iPhone 6 in a speed test. Now if you’re curious as to how both phones will hold their own again another flagship handset in the form of the HTC One M9, you’re in luck as YouTube channel PhoneBuff has decided to conduct a test of their own.

As the title suggests, this test will pit all three phones against each other which will be rather interesting, especially when you consider that all phones have different chipsets. The Galaxy S6 will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos chipset, Apple with their A8, and the HTC One M9 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810, so which phone will prevail in this speed test?

As proven in the previous speed test, the Galaxy S6 is quite a beast in terms of speed. Thanks to its Exynos octa-core chipset, the phone has no trouble loading up games in a short amount of time, compared to the iPhone 6 and HTC One M9 which was visibly slower, although the iPhone 6 does pull ahead of the HTC One M9 by a tiny margin in some instances.

However in terms of multitasking, this is where the HTC One M9 truly shines. With the Galaxy S6, it seems that Samsung had to reload most of the apps that were opened previously, however the One M9 handled multitasking really well and led the way, finishing in a time of 1 minute 27 seconds. The iPhone 6 finished in 1 minute and 34 seconds, narrowly beating out the Galaxy S6 which came in with a time of 1 minute and 37 seconds.
