Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (photo taken with Canon PowerShot SX150 IS)It seems that the Android 5.0 Lollipop bandwagon has not left town just yet, with word that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (the LTE enabled model, that is) will be on the receiving end of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, now how about that? Samsung has definite been doing its part to deliver the much looked forward to Lollipop update to their huge collection of Android-powered devices, and it does seem as though the LTE-enabled model of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is up next. This is definitely good news, especially when you take into account how the previous week’s Android 5.0.2 OTA was delivered to the Wi-Fi only variant.

To date, we do know that this particular update will be limited to a handful of countries over in Europe, where the likes of Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia and Switzerland have already been confirmed. Considering how the build is already complete, do expect even more widespread availability to hit the market. It is touted that this particular firmware will weigh in at a massive 1.7GB, not to mention sporting a T805XXU1BOCC internal designation with a March 17 date.

If you do not happen to live in any of the listed countries, and yet are excited to pick up this Lollipop update, perhaps performing a manual install might be a better idea.
