samsung_speakerSpeaker designs for the most part are pretty standard, but last year in December Samsung took the wraps off a pair of omnidirectional speakers that featured a rather futuristic-looking design. Now if you’re after a speaker with such a design that could potentially match the design of your home, you’re in luck.

Samsung has recently announced that their omnidirectional speaker will be going on sale in the US later this month. However it seems that it is only the Wireless Audio Radiant 360 R7 model that will be going on sale and if you recall, there were two models that were launched, so maybe the other model will be released later.

Samsung has priced the speaker at $499.99 which is a bit pricey but if you value design then perhaps it could be worth your money. That being said just as a quick recap for those who might have missed our earlier report, these speakers will feature Ring Radiator technology from Samsung, which basically allows it to deliver audio from all directions.

The speakers will also pair with an accompanying smartphone app from Samsung called Multiroom App 2.0 which allows users to share music across connected devices at home. The speakers will also be able to connect to Samsung TVs, sound bars, mobile devices thanks to its wireless connectivity. A specific release date was not mentioned but it should be released later this month.
