no-shadow-skyscraperIf there is one way to tell whether a particular image or photo is fake or not, look out for the obvious clues – where the light source is coming from, and whether that particular object happens to cast a shadow or not. If it is a person, then that would be a very corporeal spirit for sure, but otherwise, haunted buildings and an entire ghost building are two very different propositions. Here is an idea – how about a skyscraper (or rather, two) that do not cast shadows, and yet illuminate the inward bit?

A London-based architecture firm claims that they are working on a pair of skyscrapers in a special manner, where sunlight reflected by one will fill in the shadow of the other, and vice versa. In other words, regardless of which particular time of the day it is, both buildings will not cast any shadows on their surroundings, and yet solves the issue of having a perpetually shadowy center.

The firm’s design director, Christian Coop, did mentioned, “The relationship between the sun and shadow is the relationship between the two buildings.” Well, at least this particular idea with skyscrapers does not have anything to do with firing up a game of Tetris on them.
