apple watchFor those who were quick on the trigger to pre-order the Apple Watch on the 10th of April, it looks like your orders are getting ready to be shipped out. According to reports, the status of the Apple Watch for some customers has changed from “Processing” to “Preparing for Shipment”. The credit cards of customers who placed their pre-orders have also been charged.

So like we said, if you were quick enough to pre-order the device when it was first made available, there is a good chance you should be able to get your hands on the device come this Friday which is when the wearable will be officially released. As for those who were a bit slow to pre-order, your shipping estimates should not have changed, with some customers having to wait until June to receive their order.

That being said, an earlier report revealed that Apple was trying their best to get as many units out to their customers as possible, and that those who are looking at June shipments could even receive their purchase a little earlier than expect, although we guess to avoid disappointment you shouldn’t really count on that happening. To date it has been estimated that over 2.3 million Apple Watches have been pre-ordered.
