LG G3 owners on AT&T and Sprint received the much awaited Lollipop update a couple of weeks back but T-Mobile has been keeping its customers waiting. Today that wait is finally over. The T-Mobile LG G3 Lollipop update has finally been released. This update will bring up the core OS to Android 5.0.1 and will add all of the features and improvements that come as part and parcel of Lollipop.

T-Mobile released the Lollipop update for LG G3 earlier today. At that time the over-the-air roll out had not commenced so people who wanted the update had to hook up their devices to a computer and get the update through LG’s desktop software.

If the OTA has still not gone live in your region that’s one way you can get Lollipop on T-Mobile LG G3 right now. If you don’t want to go through that hassle then just wait a bit, it shouldn’t take too long for your phone to notify you that an update is available.

LG G3 users will immediately notice the updated user interface once Lollipop is installed. There are a handful of new features onboard as well that enhance the overall experience.

Aside from adding all that the update also brings support for VoLTE to the LG G3.
