One of the most basic benchmarks would be the number of sales achieved – in comparison to previous quarters, not to mention against that of its peers in the same industry. Tesla Motors is proud to announce that they have crossed the 10,000 barrier in terms of the previous quarter’s sales.

Time certainly flies by past us, where it has been more than half a dozen years back when Tesla Motors began deliveries of its all-electric Roadster. Since then, Tesla has not looked back, and while its sales data has been released from time to time, most notably during quarterly earnings reports, and here is one such moment.

According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, due to the niche market that Tesla occupies, it has different production cycles not to mention a small size which could result in analysts and the media using traditional methods to read into the monthly fluctuations of delivery numbers. Still, it has achieved the 10,030 global delivery mark throughout the period of January through March this year.
