xperia-c4-renderSony Mobile has insisted that they are here to stay in the smartphone market, although the omens do not seem to bode too well for the company in the first place. Well, having said that, it is nice to know that there are still plans to roll out new models of smartphones from Sony, and with whispers of a Sony Xperia C4 going around, it is not surprising to learn that a render of the alleged smartphone has popped up online.

Also touted to carry the codename Cosmos, the Sony Xperia C4’s latest purported render is rather interesting, as there is the Mona Lisa in the background – with the background being most certainly fake. Well, the front segment of the alleged Sony Xperia C4 does look pretty decent, where it would not be out of place from the standard fare of handsets that we seem to see these days.

It is said that the Sony Xperia C4 should arrive with a front-facing LED flash in the same vein as that of its predecessor, except that the design is a wee bit different, with the pronouncement of more rounded corners. Well, since this is but a leak of a render, do take it with a pinch of salt. Other rumors surrounding the Sony Xperia C4 point to a possible May or June release date with Android 5.0 Lollipop as the mobile operating system of choice, where it ought to arrive in white, black, and turquoise shades.
