In a bid to promote its online video streaming service Amazon today announced that anybody will be able to watch Orphan Black online free on April 17th. Amazon Prime Instant Video is the exclusive online streaming home in the U.S. for BBC America’s Orphan Black and this Friday the first season of this series will be open to everybody for one day. No Prime membership required.

In order to access Amazon’s online video streaming service one needs to purchase an Amazon Prime membership which costs $99 per year. Aside from access to Prime Instant Video the membership also brings free two-day shipping, music, TV shows, documentaries, cloud storage and much more all for the lump sum amount.

Starting 12:01 am PT and ending 11:49 pm PT anyone can watch Orphan Black online free using the Amazon Instant Video app for smart TVs, connected and mobile devices. Only the first season will be available and since it’s just for one day only, you’ll have to binge through ten episodes in 24 hours.

This one-day promotion is also meant to promote the upcoming season of this series. Season three of Orphan Black is going to premiere on Saturday, April 18th on BBC America and its sister networks which include AMC, IFC< Sundance TV and WE TV.
