Microsoft is running a preview program for Windows 10 through which it is allowing members of the public to try out the new software before it’s consumer release later this year. The preview is not just limited to Windows 10 for desktop. Microsoft is also running a preview of Windows 10 for Phones, though it is limited to a handful of Windows Phone devices right now. Today a video has been posted online which shows the Windows 10 for Phones build 12534 in action.

The latest build shows us what we can expect to see in the upcoming versions of the preview software. Microsoft has already said that it is working to expand the number of devices that are supported by the preview. The next build is expected to bring support for quite a few existing devices.

We see in the video that the contacts app in Windows 10 for Phones build 12534 features new circular avatars for contact images, and we also get to see the new phone dialer and messaging app.

Check out this video if you would like to see how Outlook looks on Windows 10 for Phones. It also provides us a glimpse of calendar integration with Outlook as well as the much awaited “Project Spartan” web browser for Windows 10.

Microsoft expects to go through with the Windows 10 consumer release this summer.
